Hello, my name is Annette Lessard and this is my first year at St. Luke. I attended University of Washington where I graduated with a bachelors in Sociology. I quickly went back to school and earned an associate of arts and sciences in Early Childhood Education at North Seattle College. I then taught Preschool/Pre-K for around 20 years before deciding I needed to expand a little more. In 2018, I enrolled at City University where I earned a Masters in Education certificated in Kindergarten through 8th grade. I graduated during the stay-at-home order and began subbing in schools as they opened up in the fall of 2020. I feel so fortunate to have found a home at St. Luke School.
I have three children, my oldest is 25 and just graduated from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!), my middle is almost 22 and still trying to find his path having graduated during the stay-at-home order himself and my youngest is 16! She just started driving and will be attending Roosevelt High School for her Junior Year.
My kids and I love to be outdoors, we hike together, camp together and one of our most favorite things to do is spend a lazy summer afternoon floating down a river.
