Welcome to Ms. Bergere’s first-grade class! I am so excited to be your child’s first-grade teacher and help them grow as students at St. Luke School. I graduated from the University of Washington and earned my teaching certification from Western Washington University. I spent three years living in Wetumpka, Alabama, but I am so happy to be back home in the Northwest where I taught in Catholic schools for over a decade. I love the Catholic educational approach of teaching the whole child: intellectually, spiritually, and socially-emotionally. I strive to make my classroom an environment of warmth, active engagement, and a place where students love to learn!
Every week, I’ll email out a Weekly Lessons Overview. This will show what the students will be learning for the week and communicate important upcoming assignments, events, and dates. Email is the best way to reach me! I’m looking forward to a wonderful year together!
